DESCRIPTION
Residence for 3 photographers, one from each country represented in the Consortium. A geographer or anthropologist will collaborate in the post-production of this action. Based on a proposal from IPL, a group of three photographers (each invited by a different partner, IPL, MVM and ESAAIX, with a concern for gender balance) will travel across the central Iberian peninsula according to their own working protocol. The artistic work produced will be displayed at the event organised by the Mun.CB in July 2024 and also during the final event, in Spring 2025 in Malpartida de Cáceres.
Carlos Casteleira, https://walking-the-data.esaaix.FR French-Portuguese photographer, will travel from Aix-en-Provence to the Serra da Estrela via Guadarrama and Gredos. His work protocol focus on the exploration of landscapes, geology and mountain peaks.
Duarte Belo: https://www.duartebelo.com
Lourdes Germain : https://www.lourdesgermain.com/
A Spanish geographer/anthropologist will be invited by MVM to contribute to the project with a social perspective (borders, geology, anthropology, transhumance…). GeoPark Estrela (AGE) participates in this action by providing a cartographer whose work will join the artistic work display. IPL will be responsible for entering this Action’s cartography into the PES_CE website.
