The Portuguese collective OSSO includes artists that research the relation between the visual arts, sound art, photography, dance, performance, music, design, architecture and cinema. It is the nomadic expression of a collective creative project from the village of São Gregório in Portugal.
The Abstract Invasors project is based on wandering in rural territory. Until today it has had 4 editions associated with 4 residencies https://www.osso.PT/programacao-3/invasor-abstracto/.
This Action foresees the development of a residency in two parts, connecting two territories; Investigating the physical, aesthetic, poetic, social and political qualities of the following historical and experimental territories: #1: OSSO and the Museo Vostell Malpartida de Cáceres (Extremadura/ SP), the Musée Gassendi – Digne les Bains (Alpes de Haute Provence/ FR) and OSSO.
This spoken experience will give rise to “small poetic essays” that will be integrated into the Abstract Invasor web pages and fill the exhibition spaces of the venues.
